User Management for Accounts with Multiple Users
Each account has a single owner - this is the person who originally signed up with Appointment.one. However, we support multiple users for ease of billing and for creating event groups that expose the availability of multiple resources within a single calendar (learn more about the differences between Accounts and Users if unfamiliar with the terminology.
To access user management within the account:
Navigate to the Settings page then select the Users tab
If you do not have a users tab then your account may not have permission, find your account owner to change your view
Adding New Users
Click the Add User button to create additional users inside this account. Enter the email address for the new user and assign a permission level. Administrator permission can modify any aspect of the account including user management, group management, and billing management. Standard permission can only act on their own user account and groups to whom they are assigned.
Users will be billed at the same rate and term and the account owner.
Viewing User Status
All users associated with an account are listed at this page, as shown in the image below. From here you can quickly see:
- An inventory of all users
- View the personal URL
- See assigned permission (the icon indicates administrator permission)
- View their account status (one of: Account Active, Account Pending Setup, or Account in Error)
Changing and Deleting Users
Click the menu next to any user and elect to either Change or Delete the user. Changes take affect immediately. Deleted users can be restored within 24 hours after which all of their Appointment.one settings are permanently removed (rest assured - existing appointments inside their calendars will never be modified).
Users of all permission levels can also cancel their own account which is the same as Delete.
We're doing amazing things at Appointment.one. Experience simple scheduling without email tag or double booking.
