Adding a Time Buffer Between Appointments

Control your event availability by setting a time buffer before and after different types of existing appointments on your calendar. You can prevent back-to-back meetings of all kinds or perhaps only those meetings that require an in-person visit.

By using the Event Buffer functionality you get fine-grained control over the availability displayed in your public listing. You can make the following selections on a per-event basis:

  • Add a time buffer before or after a local in-person meeting
  • Add a time buffer before or after a remote (phone call) meeting

Most customers who take advantage of the Event Buffer feature focus on giving themselves time before and after in-person meetings as these are less likely to hold to the true meeting duration.

To change Event Buffer time:

  • Navigate to your dashboard and select the event you'd like to modify
  • Expand Advanced
  • Modify Event Buffer field
